Master Neil Vandenberge and his wife michelle vandenberge are the owners of Lacey Kum Sung and master neil is the Head Instructor. Master Neil has been training with Kum Sung Martial Arts for over 20 years and is a  6th degree black belt in their organization.


Grandmaster Donald Vandenberge

Grandmaster Vandenberge has been involved in Kum Sung Martial Arts for over 20 years and is a 7th degree black belt in their orginization. He has a Masters Degree in Education and has taught elementary band and instrument instruction for 38 years for the Toms River Regional school district. He took over Lacey Kum Sung in 1997.


Assistant Instructors

We are incredibly lucky to have these three young adults as assistant instructors at our school. They are not only talented martial artists but also excel in many other areas. they are positive role models for all the students that train with them and look up to them.

Morgan Murphy is a 2nd degree black belt and co-captain of our demo team. She has trained with our organization since 2012. She is a high honor roll student, in the National Junior Honor Society, and is a part of concert band and school choir.

Emma Lishman is a 2nd degree black belt and co-captain of our demo team. She has trained with our organization since 2011. She is a high honor roll student, part of her schools Humanities program and co-captain of her Volleyball team

Miles Vandenberge is a 2nd degree black belt and co-captain of our demo team. He has trained with our organization since 2011. He is a high honor roll student, part of the National Junior Honor Society, a member of All South Jersey band, Jazz band, concert band and Indoor Drumline.

Chris Fornino

Mr. Fornino has studied Sun style,and Yang style Taijiquan , both at Kum Sung Martial Arts in Lacey since 2003, and, also, through the internationally respected Tai Chi for Health Institute. Mr Fornino, a healthcare professional with decades of experience, first certified as an instructor of the Arthritis Foundation’s Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention program in 2012. He has taught in Long Term Cares, in addition to the Kum Sung program in Lacey. Mr Fornino has experience in Taijiquan, Qi Gong, and other forms of breath- and energy work. facebook@elevatethecrownliftthespirit
